Officials in the island state are working to identify a pink slime that has surfaced on a secluded beach, with certain experts concerned it could be an phytoplankton proliferation.
Widespread Occurrence Along Beaches
The pink-tinged sludge was found on a section of Randalls Bay about 60 kilometers south of the city. A comparable ooze has also been documented on parts of a nearby shore and Little Taylors Bay.
